PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A motorcyclist is seriously injured after he struck a disabled vehicle in Portage.
It happened around 8:45 a.m. Thursday on Portage Road north of Centre Avenue.
Public Safety officers say a 57-year-old man from Vicksburg was driving northbound on Portage Road, changed lanes to pass an upcoming vehicle, and struck an unoccupied, disabled vehicle that was stopped in the right lane.
He was rushed to Bronson Hospital with serious injuries. Portage Road was shut down for about 3-hours as Portage Police officers investigated the crash.
