BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) – The National Civic League has awarded Battle Creek the All-America City award.
This year’s competition theme was health. A team of people from the city’s Operation Fit traveled to Denver in June 2019.
To mark the award, the city is hosting a celebration this Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Battle Creek YMCA on Capital Avenue. There will be activities, food and drinks. The public is invited, and it’s free.
