LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) – 7 school districts throughout Michigan, including 2 in SW Michigan, will receive 17 electric school buses through a state pilot program.
The program is aimed at promoting clean air and the use of alternative energy.
The buses will be distributed to Kalamazoo, Three Rivers, Zeeland, Ann Arbor, Gaylord, Oxford, and Roseville public schools, which qualified for grants to purchase the buses through the program.
