KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Fans of Bell’s will be delighted to hear that the brewery is preparing to release Double Two Hearted IPA, a much stronger version of its infamous counterpart.
While the original Two Hearted is measured at 7%, this version of Two Hearted clocks in at 11% ABV. The Bell’s website suggests drinking it in a snifter glass.
Fans can expect to purchase Double Two Hearted starting on Monday, August 26th. The brewery and general store will open an hour early at 10 a.m. to celebrate its release.
Early next year, Bell’s will release a lighter version of Two Hearted known as “Light Hearted,” which will measure at 3.7% ABV and a lower calorie count.
Two Hearted was recently named the number one beer in America by Zymurgy magazine for the third year in a row.
