THREE RIVERS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) is reporting that two suspects will be facing charges in Three Rivers after they were observed in a meth deal Wednesday.
Police say that a Kalamazoo man traveled to the 200 block of US-131 in Three Rivers to sell two ounces of crystal meth. After the deal was complete, authorities detained the suspects.
The two ounces of meth were recovered, along with $850 in cash.
The suspect was reportedly investigated for weeks before the bust was made.
Police say that the charges will be submitted to the St. Joseph Prosecutor’s Office while the incident is investigated further.
SWET is a collaboration between multiple police agencies that specializes in illegal drug cases.
