WATERVLIET TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after a multi-vehicle crash on I-94 in Berrien County sent two people to the hospital, with one last listed in critical condition.
Deputies say a man from Paw Paw was traveling on eastbound I-94 near the county line in Watervliet Township Friday evening when he did not notice that traffic was stopped due to construction and rammed into the back on another car, causing a chain reaction crash.
The at-fault driver and an infant in his vehicle were both unconscious after the crash and rushed to the hospital where the infant was last reported doing well but the driver was still in critical condition.
Approximately 6 vehicles were involved in the crash.
