HASTINGS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A teen from Illinois is in the hospital after a tubing accident on a Cass County lake.
It happened just after 4:30 p.m. Sunday on Shavehead Lake in Porter Township.
Deputies say a 15-year-old from Orland Park Illinois was being pulled on a tube with a friend when they both fell off and he hit his head on his friend’s shoulder.
The victim was airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital in Indiana where his current condition has not been released.
