KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A Kalamazoo man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for beating a trespasser to death on his property as of Monday.
Last month, Nathan Branham was found guilty of beating victim Michael McIntyre to death with a baseball bat.
Branham had become suspicious that McIntyre was stealing marijuana plants from his yard, and ambushed him during the alleged second occurrence.
Branham is planning to appeal the sentencing, according to his lawyer Donald Sappanos.
