DOWAGIAC, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Authorities are reporting that a murder-suicide over the weekend left one couple dead in Dowiagiac. A young boy was also inside the home at the time.
The Dowagiac Police Department says that the evidence suggests 41-year-old Jason Clark shot his wife, 49-year-old Tonia Clark, on Saturday around 8:45 PM.
Jason Clark committed suicide soon after, and was declared dead on arrival by responders.
Tonia was taken to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Authorities say the boy in the home was not injured.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
