BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival has been voted the number one Air Show in North America by USA Today’s 10Best Readers.
The event received the honor after an expert panel selected twenty North American Air Shows as finalists and readers voted on their favorite. This comes after a successful 2019 event, attended by over 60,000 people.
This years’ show featured the US Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team, numerous acts featuring special effects and some of the best civilian aerobatic pilots in the world.
The 2020 Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival will be held July 1st through 5th, 2020 and will feature the US Air Force Thunderbirds.
As the number one airshow in North America, the event is one of the longest running annual events and balloon festivals in the State of Michigan and Battle Creek’s largest festival. It is always held over the 4th of July holiday and has been innovative in the aerial events industry since 1980.
