KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — After a two-week long investigation, a suspect in an Oshtemo Township bank robbery has been found in Kentucky.
The robber walked into the PNC Bank on West Main Street the morning of July 13th, passed a note to the teller, and then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
Kalamazoo County Sheriff deputies launched a K-9 immediately after the robbery but the man was not located.
After searching for weeks, the suspect was caught in Florence, Kentucky, a suburb of Cincinnati, on Wednesday.
The man is now facing local charges in Boone County, Kentucky and is also possibly connected to a series of bank robberies in Lansing and Ohio.
The suspect’s name has not been released at this time,
