LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – DTE says it’s planning to buy three new wind farms in Michigan.
The company announced last week that the Michigan Public Services Commission has given conditional approval for its proposed purchase of the wind farms. It says the wind farms will help the company increase its renewable energy portfolio by nearly 50-percent.
DTE says the new facilities will help it power 107,000 homes.
