KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – With Consumers Energy crews repairing storm outages, one outage wasn’t due to Mother Nature but rather a suspected drunk driver.
Kalamazoo Public Safety reports that a man crashed his vehicle into a power pole on S Burdick at around 10:12 p.m. Friday, causing an outage in the area.
After a short search, the suspect was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
