SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM)– South Haven’s South Beach was shut down Friday following two separate rescues within an hour.
An 18-year-old man was rescued by Emergency Services Fire Chief Ron Wise after he got caught in a rip tide along the pier.
The second swimmer was rescued by a good samaritan after struggling in the water.
Dozens remained in the water despite red flags being flown.
