KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –David Benac, an associate professor of history at Western Michigan University, is running for Kalamazoo mayor.
Benac says he believes that the best way to affect lives positively, is on a local level.
If elected, he says he wants to focus on housing issues, and environmental issues as well.
Benac ran for Michigan’s 6th Congressional District in 2018 but was defeated by Democrat Matt Longjohn in the primary.
