QUINCY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –A 25-year-old man from Jonesville is in the hospital after a mortar exploded in his lap.
The man was was holding a mortar tube in his lap when it was loaded and lit.
The victim was hit with a lot of shrapnel from the explosion, leaving him with severe cuts and bleeding.
The man was flown to a hospital, but his condition is unclear.
