HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — The man nicknamed the ‘hoodie bandit‘ for knocking off payday lending retail outlets in West Michigan will spend up to 30 years in prison.
James Douglas Hebrank, 46. had earlier entered guilty pleas to two counts of armed robbery. related ot Ottawa County incidents, one in Holland and one in Jension, but also hit stores in Muskegon, Kent, and Newaygo counites.
He typically wore a mask and a U of M hoodie during the crimes. He later told the court he was funding a drug habit.
