HOLLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Those living near and traveling through Holland are currently enjoying the cheapest gas in the state.
As of Saturday, at least four different stations in the area were charging 2.29 for a gallon of unleaded gas.
According to AAA, that’s 50 cents below the Michigan average and 42 cents lower than the national average.
The Holland gas stations say they lowered their prices to compete with a new Speedway station that opened up a few weeks ago with the 2.29 per gallon price. But AAA expects an increase in prices there ahead of the Fourth of July Holiday.
