BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The city of Battle Creek has issued a boil water advisory for the area of Capital Southwest and Columbia Avenue.
The advisory affects these specified areas.
- On Columbia Ave from Highland Ave to just east of Griffin St
- On Highland Ave from Columbia Ave W to Latimer Ln
- On Grand Blvd from Grandview Ct to Columbia Ave E
- Eel St
- Lucille St
- Latimer Ln
- Kerston Ave
- Harold St
During this time, the city will perform maintenance and repairs to the water system.
City officials advise anyone living in this area to ot drink the water without boiling it first. They say to boil it first for one minute, and then let it cool before consumption.
