HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland police are looking for a suspected armed burglar, described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-7, 135 to 165 pounds, who appeared to be 22 to 24 years old, with a bald or shaved head, last seen wearing a white tank top.
Police were called to the report of a burglary in progress at the home, on the 400 block of Maple Avenue, just after 6 p.m. Friday, June 21 2019.
The homeowner told police he’d come home and found the intruder, and believed the suspected burglar had a handgun.
The homeowner immediately fled, calling 911.
When officers arrived on scene, they deployed a robot and later a K9 unit, determining the suspect was no longer in the home, according to a police statement emailed to media.
