SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –Following an amendment to the Fireworks Safety Act last December, the city of South Haven is making several changes to its fireworks ordinances.
Similar to changes made by Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, most Holiday fireworks can now only be shot off until 11:45 PM, besides New Years, which can be shot until 1 AM.
South Haven citizens in violation of the new ordinance may be fined up to $1000.
