LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –The Michigan Legislature is adding $15 million to a low-interest loan program to help farmers dealing with state’s third wettest year in history
The bill was approved Thursday by the Senate, and now heads to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer for her approval.
Growers, processors and handlers will be able to get a 1% interest rate on loans through the Agricultural Disaster Loan Origination Program.
