LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Attorney General Dana Nessel says that further investigations into sex abuse by the Catholic Church are now underway and more charges are likely.
The investigation is looking at cases and allegations that date all the way back to 1950, some of which may have been covered up by the church.
The investigation continues after five members of the clergy were charged last month with various counts of criminal sexual conduct, including a former priest from the Diocese of Kalamazoo who now lives in India.
