UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) — Hopeful brewers looking to tap into the beer business have some good chances here in Michigan, according to a new study.
The organization Bid-On-Equipment ranked the top 25 best cities to open a brewery in the U.S., with 4 Michigan cities making the list.
Kalamazoo came in 22nd place, Grand Rapids was 19th, Ann Arbor was 13th, and Royal Oak placed 3rd.
The study ranked the cities based on factors including population of at least 50,000, as well as the various business costs associated with running a brewery.
Number 1 on the list was Somerville Massachusetts.
