HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The wet weather is threatening the second-annual Los Cochinos fishing tournament, according to organizer Jaime Valdez.
It’s set for 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, with weigh-in at 7 p.m. — and designed to give familes an activity the day before Father’s Day.
Should Saturday be too rainy (thunderstorms are possible), he’ll try again Saturday June 29, 2019.
This is a casual tournament for fishing enthusiasts or beginners from the general public, Valdez says. Only requirement is for those 17 and older having a valid Michigan fishing license and a $20 entry fee.
This is an all-ages event, with free food and prizes for children.
He’s posting updating on the Los Cochinos Fishing Crew Facebook page.
