UTICA, MI (WTVB) – A Utica man is in the Macomb County Jail after his 14th drunk driving arrest.
Lucian Herbert’s drunk driving problems date to 1982, and he was arrested driving a moped on Hall Road over the weekend. Utica Police Chief Sean Coady says why Herbert wasn’t in jail and able to get the keys to the moped is a court issue, noting there’s a chance the man had been in compliance with whatever punishment had been handed out for his 13th DUI case.
Herbert’s blood alcohol level in his weekend arrest was .21, nearly three-times the legal limit.
