TEKONSHA, MI (WTVB) – A search was conducted Sunday near Tekonsha for the remains of Mary Lands of Marshall, who disappeared in 2004.
WXMI Fox 17 reports the Venus Foundation’s Missing Persons Division got a pair of tips about where her remains would be found.
A K9 Human Remains Detection Team assisted with the search but no remains were found.
Lands was declared dead in 2011.
Her fiancé at the time of her disappearance, Christopher Pratt, claims he had an argument with Lands. She left the house to take a walk and never returned.
Pratt was considered to be a person of interest in her death but police were never able to put together enough evidence to charge anyone with her disappearance.
