KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — An investigation is underway after a fire at an unoccupied home in Kalamazoo’s South Westnedge Neighborhood.
Public Safety officers were called to the 3,700 block of South Rose Street around 9 a.m. Thursday and found smoke coming from the eaves and attic vents near the roof of the home.
The fire was quickly extinguished and nobody was inside the home at the time.
The cause is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshall’s office.
