LANSING, MI (WTVB) – A new Detroit News-WDIV poll shows most Michiganders like the job being done in her first six months by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Her approval rating is up to 51-percent, the first time it’s been over the 50-percent mark, with 24-percent disapproving of how she’s run the state.
The 13-percentage point jump since January is largely attributed to the approval by voters of the no-fault auto insurance reforms she negotiated with majority Republicans and signed last week.
