HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland’s annual Tulip Dig is set for 9-11:30 a.m. (or while the bulbs last) Saturday, June 1, 2019 or while the bulbs last.
Tulip diggers must have $10 (cash or check) and a 5-gallon bucket with digging tools — gardening gloves recommended.
Diggers must register Saturday morning at one of the city’s three main tulip-filled parks::
- Window on the Waterfront (6th Street between College & Columbia Avenues, sign
- in and pay off the main parking lot),
- Centennial Park (10th Street between River & Central Avenues, sign in and pay
- at the gazebo),
- Windmill Island Gardens (you will be directed at the entry booth)
Tulips may only be dug out on the date and times specified – no digging prior to the 9 a.m. start or after the event ends on Saturday.
Maps and FAQ’s with more information will be posted on hollandinbloom.com and the Holland in Bloom Facebook page. The Tulip Dig will go on, rain or shine, except in the case of threatening weather conditions.
