BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Battle Creek Fire Department is investigating after a total of 3 car fires in the last month.
Crews were called to Mary Street near Mott Street just after 6 p.m. Tuesday where they found two vehicles that were on fire, threatening a nearby two-story home.
The blaze was extinguished but the cars and siding of the home were damaged.
This comes just two weeks after investigators believe someone intentionally lit a Mercedes on fire on Capital Avenue Northeast just north of downtown Battle Creek.
Both incidents are under investigation by the Fire Marshall.
