BANGOR, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Three people are recovering from injuries after two men attacked them with a machete over an argument at a soccer game in Van Buren County.
Bangor Police were dispatched to Don Mora Park on North Center Street around 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Witnesses say a dispute over the referees call escalated when one suspect handed the other a machete and began swinging it at people.
The men were arrested, one victim was taken to the hospital, and the other two refused treatment.
