KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety officers are searching for a shooting suspect.
A shots fired call came in Saturday around 12:50 p.m. in the area of Lake and Mills Street at a nearby business.
Police searched the area but turned up no victims or suspects.
Minutes later, a male transported in a private vehicle arrived at Bronson ER with an apparent gunshot wound.
After speaking with witnesses and reviewing security footage, police were able to get a physical description of the suspect.
He is described as a black male about 30 years of age with long braids and dreadlocks.
The victim, a 57-year-old Kalamazoo man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
