ALBION TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — A Springport woman who fled the scene of a violent rollover crash in Albion Township, despite serious injuries, may face charges if she recovers.
Calhoun County Deputies say the 43-year-old woman may have been drinking and speeding prior to the crash shortly before midnight late Monday.
Accident investigators say it appears the woman left west bound Anderson Road, rolled over and struck a parked vehicle, forcing it through the garage door of a home.
They allege she left the scene and was taken by a private vehicle to a medical facility in Eaton Rapids and from there, transported to a Lansing Hospital where she was admitted in critical condition.
