KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers are looking for the young man they spotted in a stolen car in the Vine neighborhood yesterday.
They gave chase until the suspected car thief struck another vehicle. He then fled the scene in the damaged car and drove out of sight.
The pursuing officers terminated the chase to check on the victim of the hit and run crash. They later found the damaged stolen vehicle in the 700 block of Second Street, but by then the driver was long gone.
They are looking for a white male who is approximately 20-years-old with short dark hair and a trimmed beard.
