BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Battle Creek fire officials say a machine malfunction may have been the cause of a blaze at one of Kellogg’s manufacturing plants.
Crews were called to the plant on Porter Street around 7 p.m. Monday where workers escorted firefighters to a cereal dryer that was on fire.
The blaze was contained to the dryer and is currently being investigated by Kellogg plant officials.
Nobody was injured.
