SOUTH HAVEN TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Fire investigators will be looking for the cause of a suspicious fire on 11th Avenue in Van Buren County.
Fire crews from South Haven Area Emergency Services were dispatched to the unoccupied home at about 7:40 last night and found the single story structure fully engulfed as they rolled up.
The home was destroyed. There were no injuries.
Fire investigators say empty homes usually just don’t burst into flames, especially if there are no working utilities without some human intervention.
