KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — It’s Public Services week and the City of Kalamazoo’s water, wastewater and road crews will be holding open houses at their city facilities for the next four evenings.
Director James Baker says they are planning tours and opportunities to meet the people who plow and patch the roads, plant the trees, maintain the parks, clean the water, repair the plumbing and process wastewater.
On Tuesday and Thursday they also plan tours of the Central Pumping Station.
The open houses are planned for 5:30 to 7:30 pm today through Thursday.
