BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) – A Battle Creek man is being held on a half-million dollars bond after he was charged with molesting three of the six children who lived with him and his wife in their van.
64-year-old John Craig is charged with seven counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct for allegedly sexually assaulting the girls for years, since some of them were pre-teens.
The children, two of which are cognitively impaired, have been sent to foster homes.
The case came to light when one of the girls ran away and made the allegations after she was found by police.
