KALAMAZOO (WKZO)–Kalamazoo city officials were recently issued a water treatment violation by the state of Michigan.
Officials say they added too much phosphate to the water system, which is a chemical that helps protect pipes against corrosion.
Authorities say the violation didn’t create any immediate health or safety concerns and water customers don’t need to take any action.
