KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — There has been another fire at a Graphics Packaging plant, this time at the one in Kalamazoo.
It broke out in the warehouse of the facility on North Pitcher at about 1:20 Tuesday afternoon.
The first fire crew on the scene found fire coming from the roof and immediately initiated a second alarm to bring in more trucks and manpower. It took them four hours to bring the fire under control.
There were no reports of injuries. The cause is currently under investigation.
In the last two months, there have two smaller fires at the Graphics Packaging Plant in Battle Creek.
