HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland Chorale partnered with local artists to celebrate the Gifts of Nature: blooms, birds and beasts in a show set for 6-7 p.m. today, May 6, 2019, at Saugatuck Center for the Arts, 400 Culver St. in Saugatuck.
The performance will include John Rutter’s “For the Beauty of the Earth,” Stephen Paulus’ “The Flower Carol,” Gwyneth Walker’s “I Will be Earth,” along with arrangements of “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” “Michigan Morn,” “Mosquitos,” “Summertime” and others.
Artwork by local landscape and nature artists will be displayed at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts in the lobby, theater and on stage to make this a feast for the ears and eyes. A “Reception with the Artists” is set for 6
Tickets cost $23 and are available online, or at the door subject to availability.
