BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Battle Creek Police are asking that anyone who was at a party in the 200 block of East Roosevelt and E. Gooddale last night when gunfire rang out, and may know who was responsible, to give them a call.
In all three people were wounded by the shots, which were fired by at least two people just after 10 pm. They may have been shooting at each other.
The three wounded adults included a 22 year old, who was admitted for treatment in critical condiion.
The other two, both 24-years-old, are listed in stable condition at area hospitals.
None of the three were willing or able to identify the gunmen. None of the partiers who stuck around and were interviewed by police were able to identify them either.
They estimate there were 50 to 75 at the party and most fled before police arrived.
