LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A South Haven man is in custody after he sold cocaine to an undercover officer.
Van Buren County Sheriff deputies conducted the buy operation Wednesday afternoon in a parking lot on Huron Street near Broadway Street in South Haven.
When the dealer sold the drugs, officers arrested the 50-year-old man who attempted to flee from them.
He was found with 11.1 grams of cocaine and arrested on two outstanding felony warrants and taken to the Van Buren County Jail.
Additional drug charges could be filed.
The Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Response Division, a K-9 team, and officers from the South Haven City Police Department assisted in the drug bust.
