WEST MICHIGAN (WHTC-AM/FM) — Meteorologists in the National Weather Service office in Grand Rapids have issued a wind advisory, in effect from noon unil midnight Friday, April 26, 2019.
Winds could reach 45 mph into the afternoon and evening, potentially causing power outages,or blowing around loose objects.
Overnight, the temperatures could drop far enough to create frost and by Saturday, meteorologists expect snow will accumulate to the point of creating hazardous driving, with slushy roads, and icy bridges. Some Lakeshore communities could see up to 5 inches of snow overnight Saturday.
Sunday’s sunny skies and anticipated 51 degree high temperature should melt any snow that lasts overnight.
