KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Western Michigan University Board of Trustees has once again increased room and board rates for the next school year, this time by just over 3.1%.
That will push the cost for a bed, a desk and full meal plan over the $10,000 mark. They will set the new tuition rates after they get a look at their budget this summer.
The Trustees also voted to name their newest dorm complex “Arcadia Flats”, a nod to Arcadia Creek which flows near its south campus location. It has not yet been constructed.
