BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — A man that Battle Creek Police say was responsible for a murder at Claude Evans Park last October is now on trial.
Calhoun County Prosecutors say 18-year-old Davion Brown walked up to the vehicle where Khari Davis was sitting near the park and mortally wounded him with a handgun and then fled the area.
Several officers took the stand on the first day of testimony to, including one who said Davion Brown was spotted in photos taken in the park.
The trial will resume Wednesday morning.
