GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WKZO) The number of reported Measels cases has risen yet again to 43, this time wih potential exposure sites in Kent County.
Health officials have confirmed that an individual contagious with the disease visited two loactions in Grand Rapids on April 12th. The Baymont Hotel near Wyndham Airport as well as an Urgent Care on Plainfield Ave. were both flagged as potential sites for exposure.
Health officials are warning the public to ensure they are up to date on vaccinations, as one dose can protect about 95% of children and two doses protect nearly 100%.
