GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A Grand Rapids area Walmart was evacuated after receiving a non-specific bomb threat Saturday evening according to Wyoming Public Safety.
WWMT reports the Wyoming store at 54th Street Southwest was evacuated at around 6 p.m. through a decision by store management.
A bomb squad from Michigan State police responded along with a K-9 used to track possible explosive devices and found nothing. The store re-opened at 9 p.m.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Wyoming Department of Public Safety or Silent Observer.
