KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM)– The fire investigation continues on a blaze that killed two occupants and gutted a historic home on Academy Street last Thursday.
Public Safety has released the name of the couple who died in the fire.
The bodies of 40-year-old Joshua Lee Taylor and 38-year-old Jodee Lynnell Taylor were found after investigators determined they were still unaccounted for in the debris, a day after the fire was extinguished.
Because of the condition of the building after the fire and efforts to stabilize and render it safe, they say finding the cause of the blaze has been difficult.
